Indian Food Is Mostly Gluten-Free

Good news for anyone avoiding gluten: most Indian food is naturally gluten-free. It's built on rice, lentils, vegetables, meat, and spices — not wheat. The wheat mostly shows up in breads (naan, roti, paratha) and in fried starters like samosa and pakora. At Mintt, we've mapped our entire menu for gluten content. This page lists what's GF by default, what to avoid, and how we handle cross-contact.

Tell your server / note on the online order: "GF — celiac" or "GF — sensitive" We flag the ticket; the kitchen uses clean pans and fresh oil For dosa: the griddle is shared with non-GF items; we clean and re-season for GF orders on request Biryani comes from a dedicated dum pot — no cross-contact risk We avoid putting sauces/curries near bread stations for GF tickets
Cross-Contact Realities

Cross-Contact Realities

We are not a dedicated gluten-free kitchen. Flour is used daily. The tandoor bakes naan. If you have celiac disease and need a 100% GF kitchen, we'll tell you honestly what we can and can't guarantee. For most gluten-sensitive guests, our protocols are enough. For diagnosed celiac guests, we recommend sticking to biryani, plain rice dishes, and curries served directly to your table.
